I hope everyone enjoyed their Memorial Day Weekend, while remembering the reason for celebrating the day. My love and thanks go out to the many men and women who are brave enough to fight for our country and I keep in my memory those who were not able to make it home because they fought so determinedly to keep us safe and keep us free.
On a lighter note, the end of the year is getting closer and closer still!
Senior Finals begin today! (That means our very hardworking and very lucky graduating seniors are finished with their classes! Congrats, everyone!)
Finals for the rest of the school begin in exactly one week - June 5th.
Regents Exams begin on Wednesday, June 13th and continue through Friday, June 22.
There will be several Graduation Practices this week as many of our seniors will not be taking any Regents. Seniors, you have received a schedule in class with the information on when and where graduation practice will be.
McKee High School's Graduation ceremony is Monday, June 25th at the gorgeous St. George Theater, right down the block from our building.
And FINALLY, Wednesday June 27th is the last day of school for all students.
That means there are only (drumroll please!) 20 school days until the end of the school year! WOW!
I will be posting about some good summer opportunities over the next few weeks. I hope you applied for Summer Youth Employment!
