Regents Schedules

Regents exams are coming up sooner than you think! New York State offers Regents exams in January, June, and August of every school year. I've uploaded the June 2012 Regents schedule at the bottom of this post, and will also upload the August 2012 Regents schedule. If you are unsure which Regents your child will be taking, please do not hesitate to call your child's Counselor.

In June:

• Most Freshmen will be taking US History and Living Environment (some may be taking Algebra).

• Most Sophomores will be taking Algebra and Earth Science.

• Most Juniors will be taking English and Global.

• Accelerated students will be signed up for other Regents depending on the classes they are in (ex: Geometry, Trigonometry, Physics).  

• Students who have failed one of their 5 required Regents (English, Global, US History, 1 Science, 1 Math) are signed up to re-take it during every cycle of Regents testing until they pass it (passing is 65 or higher).
