Scholarships will be awarded to applications in the following areas: Industrial, Process Technology, or Engineering, i.e., Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental. Each award will be a $1,000 scholarship, payable directly to the institution applicant is attending only upon the furnishing of proof of enrollment at said college. Recipients must be accepted by an accredited institution of higher learning and be enrolled in Industrial, Process Technology, or Engineering curriculum. Scholarship recipients must provide proof of enrollment by November 1, 2014 or the CAP Scholarship Committee reserves the right to reallocate the funds. Maximum award is $1,000.

The application must have consistent attendance, good citizenship traits, and be of sound moral character.
TIME GUIDELINES & APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Deadline: Absolute deadline - applications must be postmarked by March 21st. No exceptions. Applications must be typed or computer generating.
Applicant must arrange with guidance counselor (that's me!) to forward the Secondary School Transcript, SAT scores, and recommendation science or math teacher, with special notation relative to student's character and citizenship.
Applicants will be judged on the basis of academic and continued or improved achievement, leadership activities, school-related extracurricular activities, community activities, financial need, and their original personal essay.
