There is a movie coming out called Bully that documents the growing epidemic of bullying in schools across the country. Unfortunately, the MPAA has given this film an "R" rating, which means that anyone under 17 years old will not be able to see it, and the film won’t be allowed to be screened in American middle schools or high schools. 17-year-old Katy Butler in Michigan has started up a petition to get the MPAA to change the movie to a "PG-13" rating so that millions of young people across America can see the movie, a movie that can possibly change lives! I urge you to sign this petition! Bullying is very real in schools today; it was very real when I was in high school myself!
Please read this article explaining the situation more fully on Huffington Post:
